Sadaqa distribution for August 2012 Alhamdulillah...x

Assalaamu alaykum.

Firstly All praise is for Allah The Most High, without His intervention this would not be possible...

Masha'Allah Tabarak'Allah August was the best month we have had at Al-Huriyah Sadaqa since our beginning in Jan 2010

I would like to start with a new project that we have taken on. A very dear sister I know's Husband has built a temporary school in Bangladesh for poor families. At the moment, as you can see below, they have built this as a start until such time that they raise between £25,000 and £30,000 Insha'Allah to build a brick school that will last for many years bi IhdnIllah.
Our intention is to contribute each month to this wonderful project and to also raise extra funds so that this can be possible sooner, rather than later. They currently have 60 students at reception age and will be taking 120 in January 2013 Insha'Allah. Each child will be taught Arabic, English, Maths, Science and Islamic Studies which will give them a great start in life. Without this school they may not have the chance to study and would most probably be sent out to work at a young age to provide for the family. As we know this is an every day occurrence in so many countries. A good solid education is such an important start in any child's life, and this is the purpose of this new school. Imagine the reward for helping to facilitate a poor child to learn Arabic so that they can read, understand and implement the Quran into their every day life. Imagine the reward for helping to pay for a child's education so that they may gain good grades and secure a decent job which in turn will give them a wage to support their family instead of begging on the streets or doing a very hard job for most of the day and going home with a few pennies Subhan'Allah.
This will be an ongoing project for us to help them as long as it takes to build and finish this much needed school bi ihdn Illah. Please donate any amount which you can afford. Either as a one off payment or, once they have set up the required bank account whereby you can donate on a regular basis Insha'Allah.
I will keep you updated with more pictures as the build gets on it's way but without the correct amount of funds then this will take time. Please do share with others too so that they may benefit from this sadaqa jariyah and lets help get this project off the ground asap Insha'Allah.

Alhamdulillah this is the start of the school project in Bangladesh and with your help they can build a more secure building with much more space.

Please do give whatever is within your means and encourage others to do the same.

Education is the birth right of every Muslim and Muslimah. Islam puts considerable emphasis on its followers to acquire knowledge. Investment in education is the best investment one can make, because it eventually leads to intellectual property. Intellectual property is the intangible property, which no one can steal or destroy. This is the property on which no Government can levy a tax. It was as a result of application of knowledge that Muslims were the superpower of the world for twelve centuries.

As you will know we have our regular commitments to provide for before any other project so after supporting our orphans and needy families we have had such an amazing month of Ramadhan. We raised over £4000 in total from having a well built in Pakistan, supporting our brothers and sisters in Syria and Burma  http://www.justgiving.com/Al-Huriyah1 to irrigating land in Palestine   http://www.justgiving.com/Al-Huriyah4 and helping to feed a million in Ramadhan.
Remember, our intention is purely to please Allah, only He can reward us for our actions as it says in Surah Baqarah.....

Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned. 2:245...x

A dear sister I have known for many years has a children's clothes shop which, unfortunately is in the process of closing. We managed to find two projects which were in need of clothes for various reasons so sisters donated enough for us to purchase one piece each which was then donated to the following  projects.

Algerian Action needed baby clothes for new mums in Algeria so we gathered enough clothes below to help in their need.

Surplus school uniform was also given to help the children too

Alhamdulillah we also managed to send more clothes to orphans in three different countries and a small part of the school uniform went to Bangladesh for the new school children.

We are still waiting on the news of our two new Orphans which I will post about as soon as we are given the info Insha'Allah. And lastly but not the least, our Orphan in Morocco was kitted out with her needs for the new school year Subhan'Allah something so easy for us yet so precious for others...

Please remember our dear brothers and sisters in Syria and all over the world who are oppressed or facing many hardships.

A short but beneficial reminder for us all. Enjoy, but please excuse the ad and music at the beginning.

May Allah accept the little that we do for His sake and may it be a means for us all to reunite under His shade on a day when the only shade will be with Him.

2:177

Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle.
Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous. 2:177...x
