Alhamdulillah for everything.

Assalaamu alaykum,

Alhamdulillah we were fortunate enough to raise funds for brothers and sisters all over the world. These income generating gifts are the perfect gift for any family in need.

We also paid for a Tube Well but this will take time to build bi ihdnIllah so I will add the picture when this is completed Insha'Allah.

Never understimate the little that we give/do for Allah's sake.
Remember these beautiful words sent for those who give for His sake,

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); knowledge which is beneficial; or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (the deceased).” [Sahih Muslim]

Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “When a Muslim plants a tree, whatever is eaten from it is charity from him and whatever is stolen is charity and whatever is subtracted from it is charity”.[Hadith-Muslim].

Needless to say all such deeds have to be done with sincerity (ikhlas) in seeking the pleasure of Allah (subhana wa ta’ala). Only when they are done to earn Allah’s pleasure will they be rewarded by Him. If they are done for fame, monetary gain, or any other worldly benefit, then the outcome one achieves in this world is all that they will get for it.

Surat Al-'Insān (The Man) - سورة الانسان   ayat 6-9

76:6

A spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance].

76:7

They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.

76:8

And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,

76:9

[Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah . We wish not from you reward or gratitude.

The rewards for giving solely for Allah's sake are enormous, please join us and give just £4 a month to help those who need it become self sufficient.

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day, Teach a man to fish, feed him for life...x

Update 4-03-13

Please note: We are not taking anymore donations for the sewing machines as we have collected and paid for two Alhamdulillah. We are now concentrating on a Tube Well. This will supply water for around 3-4 families for a period of 10 years Insha'Allah. So we are looking for 90 sisters to give just £2 each

Jazakum'Allahu Khairan for your support

Update 2-03-13
Alhamdulillah another sewing machine today also

Update 1-03-13

Alhamdulillah we have just paid for our first gift on behalf of Muslim Hands. We have bought a sewing machine to give to a needy person to earn a wage

Assalaamu alaykum,

All Praise is for Allah alone.

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and teach him for life.

How many of us have heard this saying. It's such a true statement Subhan'Allah.
We are in the process of raising funds for various gifts via Muslim Hands.
Our first target is just £90 to help supply a family with a sewing machine. This will enable one of the family members to earn a living making clothes etc which will generate an income for the whole family. This will in turn make them self sufficient and not have to rely on handouts.
Please do give any amount you are able fi sabilIllah. Paypal payments to mekkaouis@yahoo.com

http://muslimhands.org.uk/great-charity-gifts/

We will, over a period of time buy as many gifts as possible via the above link and show you the certificates that they send you once purchased. This is a much better way to help someone in a small business start up to give them a better start in life.

This is the link for the sewing machine which Mulsim Hands will distribute on our behalf bi ihdnIllah
