Gift giving, a blessing in disguise

Assalaamu alaykum,

All praise is for Allah alone

Update 05/03/2018

Subhan'Allah the giving of gifts has many benefits for the recipient and the giver.

Imagine, you may be at the lowest point in your life, no one cares, no one to turn to for support.

Our latest project is in support of two very worthwhile charities

Cage, and Solace for revert sisters in difficulty
Both primarily based in the UK

They have, over the years given much needed support/advice to many families/individuals facing extreme hardship
Many whom may have been rejected by their families/communities because of their circumstances Subhan'Allah

Our aim bi ihdnillah, is to supply their service users with a simple, but beautiful gift during Ramadhan
A gift box containing a small bottle of Zam Zam water, some chocolate, a dua book, beneficial reminders, and a £10 gift card for them to possibly buy food to break their fast with

Everything inside the box has been donated to us free of charge except the gift card

We believe that this small gesture will bring some happiness to a heart that may be filled with sadness, as well as bringing happiness to those whom have donated towards these gifts knowing that the rewards for such a gesture is from Allah

Alhamdulillah, so far we have £280 towards 120 gift cards
We are aiming bi ihdnillah in the next few months before the month of Ramadhan to raise enough to make this possible

Please join us in our quest to bring a smile to a heart that may feel sadness
A heart that may be at the end of it's tether and ready to give up

This small act could potentially bring them back to this perfect deen of Allah with full tawakal knowing that there are many who care, even though they may not even know them Subhan'Allah

That is the beauty of this perfect Deen

May Allah accept our efforts for His sake alone, may He bring about love within the Ummah and may this small act be a means of achieving His pleasure  Ameen

Alhamdulillah we were also able to supply Cage Charity with Zam Zam Water, sweets and atta for them to sell at events to raise much needed funds for future works

On behalf of The Association of Muslim Sisters in Morocco

All Praise is for Allah alone

Update 05/03/2018

Alhamdulillah so grateful to Allah for allowing us to contribute to this project from your donations
Jazakum'Allahu Khairan to you all

We can't seem to get the videos working, will fix that asap

We have been in contact with a sister from The Association of Muslim Sisters Alhamdulillah

They are helping families in Morocco by supplying them with blankets, food and clothes etc.

Homes in Morocco do not have the luxuries like central heating like we do in the West so this time of the year is especially difficult

Many do not have enough clothes nor blankets to prepare them for the winter months Subhan'Allah, nor enough food to feed themselves or their families

Please watch the following video to see how much effort is put into supporting the many families in need

The power of giving sadaqa

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“O you who believe! Spend of that with which We have provided for you, before a Day comes when there will be no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession. And it is the disbelievers who are the Zaalimoon (wrongdoers)”
[al-Baqarah 2:254]

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever gives charity equal to a date from good (halal) earnings – for Allaah does not accept anything but that which is good – Allaah will take it in His right hand and tend it for the one who gave it as any one of you tends his foal, until it becomes like a mountain.”
 Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1344; Muslim, 1014.
Need we say more about the many blessings of providing aid to those in need. Be it your wealth, your time your provisions, by any means possible.

Alhamdulillah for all the things that we, in the West, take for granted

SubhanaAllah Son of Adam; you seek the world as if your very life depended on it and you seek the Hereafter as if you have no need of it! You will acquire what you need from this world even if you do not run after it, but you will only attain the Hereafter if you run after it. So be aware of your true condition!

Help give them an Eid to remember

All praise is for Allah alone.

Assalaamu alaykum to you in this beautiful month of fasting, striving to please our Lord, abstaining from sin, and reflecting upon the many blessings that He has bestowed upon us Subhan'Allah.

We would, bi ihdnillah like to make  Eid special for just three of the families that you all know of.

We have been supporting their basic needs now for many years and feel that they deserve to enjoy this day too without having to worry or rely on anyone for hand outs.

Firstly we have our dear elderly Aunty, she is very unwell and often needs treatment which can be very costly in Morocco Subhan'Allah.

She also has a grown son who cannot walk, talk or do any of the everyday things that we always take for granted. His sisters have to carry him around like a baby which you can imagine is very difficult. Because of their living conditions, a wheelchair is not possible or suitable for them to use.

We also have dear Marwan and his mother. They also live in hardship on a daily basis. Marwan lost his father a few years ago so it is very important that we continue to take care of them

And last but not least we have Fatou and family living in Gambia
Fatou is a widow and has 3 children, oumie below has been sick on many occasions Subhan'Allah. Sometimes we are able to pay for treatment but also, we send a monthly amount to cover the fish money, education, rent etc.

Please help us, to help them have an Eid to remember bi ihdnillah

The many blessings of giving sadaqa
