Alhamdulillah this ramadhan has been very productive in terms of everyone giving their sadaqa to help with our projects. Jazakum'Allahu Khairan to you all.

Subhan'Allah we have had another amazing ramadhan in terms of helping those ineed.

All donations for this month have been distributed accordingly.

By Allah's permission alone we have so far

Generated a large amount in food packs for families here and in Morocco.

Paid another year support for 3 of our 5 previous orphans.

Paid a year for an amazing 6 more orphans.

Paid for 2 and a halfWater Wells.

3 new hifdh children

gifted fruit trees and chickens for families to benefit from.

15 meals for Palestine.

5 meals where most needy.

Sent donations to Jordan for a sr to help families being displaced from Palestine.

Paid the travel for a sr in Gambia we support to take her daughter to seek medical assistance as she may have cancer Subhan'Allah.

Raised funds for various whatsapp msgs from sisters we trust.

Paid for two new abayas for a revert sr forEid.

As well as other smaller projects.

Alhamdulillah all of the above is only possible with Allah's permission and your kindness.

As some of you know, we also have monthly commitments to provide for which, unfortunately we were £47 short of this month.
We are not asking for this to be paid but just to encourage you yourself if you are not part of this project or to at least try to bring one other person on board.

Our monthly commitments are families we have mostly been supporting since 2010 Alhamdulillah and, for us to struggle in the future would be such a shame as it may mean one or two families would have to be dropped.

I know and appreciate from my heart just how amazing you have all been and I'm asking you to please continue after ramadhan with a monthly standing order of just £4 a month. Just £1 a week is all it takes to support so much Subhan'Allah.

As you know, we are not a charity, just two sisters who care enough to try and make a difference to others lives. We may be small but we care a lot and that's also why we ask for such a small amount so that everyone can afford to give a little. Just £1 a week from your purse.

By Allah we could never really comprehend just how big a test and how difficult it must be for our brothers and sisters in Gaza and all over the world. We had a thunder storm last night in London which, Subhan'Allah was the loudest and scariest thunder I can ever remember witnessing in my 48 years. 

Sometimes we are so busy in our lives we tend to forget how so many are facing hardships and I think last nights thunder was to show us who is in control and an example of everyday life for so many who are being bombarded on a daily basis Subhan'Allah.

We have a Just Giving page in support of Islamic Relief and every penny that we donate to Gaza will be doubled bi ihdnIllah.

Allahu Akbar, we have now paid for another Water Well for Pakistan. Plus two Fruit Trees and four chickens Alhamdulillah.

Alhamdulillah we have so far raised £220 for Penny Appeal.

Alhamdulillah we all know the blessings of having clean drinking water on tap. For many this is not the case.

Our next project during this blessed month is to have a Water Well built via Penny Appeal at the total cost of £300. This will be built in Pakistan Insha'Allah.

This will count as a sadaqa jariyah for all who give, as long as the well is in use bi ihdnIllah.

Thirst Relief

One of the most common causes of death in the developing world is drinking dirty and diseased water. We take clean water for granted and can access it freely at the turn of a tap; for those less fortunate than us it can be a matter of life and death.

Penny Appeal's Thirst Relief project is about installing wells and providing safe, clean drinking water to some of the poorest people in the world. Without access to clean water, communities cannot grow healthy food, making them more likely to be sick and unable to work or go to school. In turn, these communities are more likely to be trapped in poverty.

Our newest Orphan sponsorship

In support of Penny Appeal we are fortunate enough to be able to sponsor a new orphan from Bangladesh.

Mosammat is just 8 years old and is one of two children.

Permission was sought to show her picture, age and first name for the sake of all those who donate online etc.

Alhamdulillah we have paid for a years sponsorship from your donations.

The total per year is £180 which is now paid in full.

These families will always have a need of some sort be it for themselves or their families but the little that we do for them can make a huge difference for them. We were also able to purchase a fridge for one of the families too Alhamdulillah but they still have many needs.
