All praise is for Allah, whom without His permission this would not be possible.
We are so happy to announce that the Masjid build in Gambia is now complete Alhamdulillah.
Jazakum'Allahu Khairan to Amina and Ousman from Markoiro Bunda Gambia for all the hard work, effort and struggles they went through. But well worth the wait.

Alhamdulillah the new floor is being laid. Although this build has taken longer than expected, there has been many trials throughout for Amii but it has also been a learning curve for her to then go onto doing another build on a smaller scale.

Apologies for the lack of updates. These are the newest pics sent to us from Amina in Gambia Ma sha Allah. At the moment it is the rainy season so lorries with sand etc are getting stuck on route so some work has slowed down slightly but Alhamdulillah, as you can see below it's still going well.

Amina also asked for us to support her planting of trees around the masjid.
Alhamdulillah she asked for 60 trees but together we raised enough for 90.

The first tree was planted yesterday which was a coconut tree, lemon and orange trees will be planted too bi ihdnIllah.

Alhamdulillah the Water Well within the masjid is now complete, with fresh new water for all the community Subhan'Allah

Alhamdulillah the first of the hand made bricks are ready. The foundations build will start next weekend bi ihdnIllah.
The Water Well is 8 metres deep at the moment with water expected soon bi ihdnIllah

Alhamdulillah the sand has been delivered, a store room is being built and the Water Well is under way. All praise is for Allah for allowing us this opportunity to give much needed water and a masjid to the local community.

Allahu Akbar. So far you have given enough to complete phase 1-3 Alhamdulillah.
Onwards to phase 4 which will the the roof etc.

Alhamdulillah we have reached the target for phase 1. Jazakum'Allahu Khairan. Once the first build commences bi ihdnIllah we will post pics. Any overpayment for each phase will be used for the next.
Ramadhan Mubarak. May Allah accept our fasting for His sake alone, may He make ease for us all and may our ibadah be a means to reunite in Jannah Firdous. Ameen.

Alhamdulillah we are very happy to announce one of our biggest projects so far. In association with my dear sister/friend Amina at Markoiro Bunda Gambia, we have teamed up to build a Mosque in Gambia Bi ihdnIllah.
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatulaahi wa barakatu.
Alhamdulillah on behalf of Markoiro Bunda Gambia and Al-huriyah Sadaqa Project we are happy to announce our newest joint venture bi ihdnIllah.
An elderly sr has donated a specific piece of land for us to build a masjid Subhan'Allah in Sinchu Wuri Gambia.
This is an amazing sadaqa jariyah opportunity bi ihdnIllah.
The lovely Leicester sisters has raised enough for a Water Well which will be built first and used to supply water for the build and eventually wudu for all the worshippers and local community.
Below is a list of the different phases which Amina and her manager will oversea.
💢Phase 1 will be making the bricks by hand.
💢Phase 2 will be the foundations of the mosque.
💢Phase 3 will be the building of walls
💢Phase 4 roofing, windows and doors
💢Phase 5 will be the interior lighting / electrics and floor covering
💢Phase 6 wudu area and toilets
💢Phase 7 fencing
💢Phase 8 by His mercy 3 teaching rooms.
Alhamdulillah this is an amazing month to give your sadaqa which as you know will be multiplied many times over bi ihdnIllah.
As usual we will provide pictures along the way and we ask you all for your sincere dua that firstly Allah accepts it for His sake alone and that He facilitates the needs of the community.

We have been working along side Amina for sometime now and Subhan'Allah she works so hard in the local communities providing food, education, medical care among many other amazing projects.
