Sadaqa distribution for May Alhamdulillah...x

All Praise is for Allah The Most High, alone. Without His permission this would not be possible.

Masha'Allah, Tabarak'Allah we have had such an amazing month again Subhan'Allah.

As always our first priorities are our two Orphans in Gaza, below is a thank you from one of them and the other should follow very soon Insha'Allah.

The two families in Morocco have also received there monthly donation. Both of the sisters are ill but, one is having tests at the moment so now has enough to pay for each test and bi ihdnIllah her treatment.

And we have committed to help a child in India with a severe blood disorder, so we donate each month to help in their need.

Here in the UK I have a very dear sister/friend who is being tested greatly and has no support from family as she is a revert. She has been having counselling with a professional sister for a while but unfortunately the funds for her sessions has now finished. We will be paying for some extra sessions  bi ihdnIllah to give her the chance to get back on her feet and be able to face life with a more positive attitude. Below is a message from the sister so you can see her progress and how much she is benefiting from the sessions...

When I first started counseling I was in a very difficult situation. For all my life I've had to put up with different kinds of abuses not just from ex husbands but also from my family, my very own mum and dad.
I think it all was too much when I divorced for the second time. All the pains I tried to mask for years came back right up in my face.
I was skeptical to go for counseling at first. My friends suggested I go since several months. Finally I made the decision to attend.
It was October/November last year. By December I started my counselling.
At first it was very painful to talk about anything and I was also shy, reserved and didn't want to say too much to the counselor. Then I slowly made the conscious decision that I was there to benefit and I needed to say everything even those things you don't want no one to know.
Week by week, session by session, my self-confidence built up. I look at my situation in a broader way now. I can see the big picture. I know why I behave the way I do. I know why I build up strong defense against anyone. I need to build on my self-esteem too. I can say that I'm achieving that too. I love myself more and I see things in a more positive and relaxed attitude.
Counseling has helped me a great deal! That's no doubt about that. Many years of suffering are slowly going into boxes. I will open those boxes when and if I will need to. Otherwise they are there, somewhere, closed and I know I am dealing with each one of them individually through counseling.

Alhamdulillah the sister seems well on the way to becoming stronger and more confident and we would like to just allow her to finish the course so that she is happy and contented. As some of you may know, being a revert is such a blessing but, it can also come with lots of baggage from your past life which is an even bigger test especially when your own family do not support you. That's why, being a revert myself and knowing how many up's and downs we can have to face day to day, it's refreshing to know that if you do not have family support, there is some help available.

That's one of the reasons I am so passionate about Solace for revert sisters in difficulty.
Masha'Allah they do so much to help revert sisters to become stronger, more confident and happy in their new life.
We donate to various causes, sometimes to send a sister on a two day Sabeel Seminar but this month we bought a revert in difficulty pack. You can see exactly what it is here   http://solaceuk.org/index.php/sponsorship-options

Please visit the site and give whatever your able fi sabil Illah, I am a witness to how much good they do for others and the impact it can have on a sisters life who is going through so much hardship and has no where to turn Subhan'Allah.

Alhamdulillah we have managed to send our first payment to Morocco ahead of Ramadhan.
As you will read on my other post, we will be supply eight poor families with a Ramadhan food pack consisting of necessary dried food and dates etc.
These packs will cost approximately £50 each so anyone wanting to donate for one pack or whatever is within your means then please do asap.

As we all know the atrocities in Syria and around the world are still continuing.
We were fortunate enough to have enough to supply a family with the following via Ummah Welfare Trust. They guarantee 100% donation policy.

http://uwt.org/site/appeal.asp?id=693

Ummah Welfare Trust urges its donors to give generously for our brothers and sisters in the blessed land of Sham. As Muslims, the current situation obligates us to respond.

£100 can provide a family with an emergency food pack that will last for many weeks inshaAllah.

One pack will contain:
• 10 kg Sugar
• 10 kg Rice
• 2.5 kg Red Lentils (Washed)
• 2.5 kg Red Lentils (Whole)
• 2.5 kg White Grams
• 2 kg Dry Milk
• Box of 100 Tea Bags
• 2.0 kg High Energy Biscuits
• 2.0 kg Salt
• 12 bars of Bath Soap
• 12 cakes of Washing Soap
• 2 kg Washing Powder
• 60 bags of Nappies
• 16 packs of Sanitary Towels

Please open your hearts and remember our brothers and sisters in these sad times – surely our wealth can never decrease when used in the aid of the Ummah.

We are also supporting a married sister in Gaza who has two children and is being tested with cancer. We ask Allah to cure her and that our contribution give her some comfort in knowing there are sisters all over the world who are prepared to help when the need arises. As some of you know, we are giving them a monthly income and on occasions will try and help in some way for her treatment as she has to travel to Jordan for this.

A very small part of your sadaqa went to http://www.justgiving.com//Dawah2012Flyer5
They are collecting donations to print flyers for dawah purposes which as we all know is an important and beneficial part of our lives and should (with Allah's permission) be a sadaqa jariyah for us all.

And lastly but not least we have given a large part of the sadaqa to a Palestinian sister.
She is divorced with 3 children. Because of her very difficult situation she borrowed 1000 dinars to start a project and earn enough money to support her family instead of begging or resorting to haram means ( as some have done) but unfortunately this money was stolen, leaving her in a dire situation with no way to pay it back. She also has many, many other personal problems which is making life even harder.
Please be assured that this sister is known to my trusted friend and we know the urgency of her need.
Part of the donation will be used for other families to buy food in Gaza Insha'Allah.

"He who relieves a hardship of this Dunya (this earthly life)
for a believer, Allah will relieve a hardship of the Day of
Resurrection for him; he who makes it easy for an indebted
person, Allah will make it easy for him in the Dunya and
the Hereafter; he who covers a Muslim (his mistakes and
shortcomings), Allah will cover him in the Dunya and
the Hereafter; Allah will be in the slave 's need, as long as
the slave is in his (believing) brother's need…"

[Saheeh Muslim]

Alhamdulillah we are so blessed to have what we have. A roof over our heads, food in the fridge, our health and our wealth. Thank Allah every second of everyday for being guided first and foremost, as without guidance then we are truly lost.

As Muslims, the phrase “alhamdulillah” اَلحَمْدُ لِله is an integral part of our deen; we are taught to say it from both the Qur’an and Sunnah and most of us have this phrase in our everyday vocabulary, not to mention we read it every day in Suratul Faatihah. ‘Alhamdulillah’ is an amazingly deep word, which would take pages upon pages to explain properly in English

Allah has truly blessed us with the opportunity to do the little that we do for His sake and I am blessed to have so many dear sisters (and some Husbands/Sons)who are passionate about helping others in their time of hardship.
Please do continue with your donations so that the recipients are confident that we will support them continuously throughout the need.

There is a young brother whom has joined us with a generous donation for the people of Gaza. He travels there on a regular basis and will also find us a family to support Insha'Allah so please be aware that any money we donate goes directly to those in need. This brother will oversee the families needs and inform us of their future progress Insha'Allah. The same goes  for Morocco. The reason is, is that we either have family or trusted friends in these areas to ensure that the donations go to those who really need it.

Please click on donate to give whatever amount your able fi sabil Illah.

I leave you all with Allah and this beautiful reminder Subhan'Allah...x

2:177
Sahih International
Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah , the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous. 2:177...x

Please note: All of the above is possible with a simple £1 a week donation from you.
Most of the doners give just £1 a week, that's all, no more, no less. With the permission of Allah alone we can help those who need us at a time when they may have no other support.
