Allahu Akbar we did it.  All £360 has been raised and paid to Amina at Markoiro Bunda Gambia. Bi ihdnillah we have secured another year for Pa's rent Subhan'Allah.

Assalaamu alaykum, Alhamdulillah it's almost a year since we raised the years rent for a new home for the Sarr family in Gambia. The time is almost upon us again. Subhan'Allah we had already paid £100 towards the £360 needed and have now received another £205 with the remaining balance at just £55.

Jazakum'Allahu Khairan to everyone who gave/shared, I will update with pics once the full amount is raised and paid but please be aware that it will be a few weeks before the rent is actually due.

May Allah reward you all immensely for giving this family a beautiful gift of a decent roof over their heads Bi ihdnIllah.

Jazakum'Allahu Khairan to all who gave for the Sarr family. They are now in the process of moving to their new home, sr Amina from Markoiro Bunda Gambia has used your donations to pay the first years rent and also given them the equivalent of two months wages to help with the move.

Jazakum'Allahu Khairan to all who gave for the Sarr families rent. Alhamdulillah we have raised and exceeded the amount needed to pay for a whole years rent in a new property Insha'Allah.

Sr Amina from Markoiro Bunda Gambia will oversee the project until they secure a new property and we will post pictures once this is finalised Bi ihdnIllah. Please remember the family in your duas.

One of our student's we are sponsoring via Markoiro Bunda Gambia is in hospital. Darbou is the youngest of our students and is unwell so we have used part of your donations to help pay for her treatment.

Sadly, as in many countries, if the family have no money then there is no treatment no matter how sick so I am sure you can appreciate the need to help them too.

Please note: We are no longer collecting towards the Sarr family rent but should you still wish to donate there are many, many families in Morocco/Gambia who need assistance. By Allah I haven't even sent out a txt or whatsapp for this yet but I just got my very first donation for this from America. You. I and Allah know who you are and I ask Allah to give you so much more in this life and the next. Ameen. Just wanted to share that at I was so touched by it.

Alhamdulillah I have some pictures of their condition.

This is the family and their current home. We have their permission to show the family

Assalaamu alaykum.

Our aim bi ihdnIllah is to secure a home for the family by paying their rent. There are currently the mother, father 7 children and two family members children making a total of 11 living in a very cramped, poor condition. We are looking for 30 people to commit to just £1 a month.

£30 a month will enable them to move to more suitable accommodation but it is a commitment that needs to be consistent otherwise they risk losing their home. That's why, ideally, it would be safre for everyone to pay the £12 one off payment so that we can secure a years rent for them each time Insha'Allah.
