New Quran distribution to 8 local mosques

Last minute donation of 6 packs of Tena pads for the local clinic

All praise is for Allah alone.

Subhan'Allah, Ramadhan is almost upon us once again. May Allah give us all the ability to reach this blessed month and utilise our time in a way that pleases Him alone. May He put barakah in our efforts and give ease to all those that are suffering around the world Ameen.

Let us remember also, many of our brothers and sisters are suffering year in, year out. Not just during Ramadhan. So it's important for us all to be there 365 days a year bi ihdnIllah.

We are in the process of gathering donations to send to our dear sister Amina in Gambia. She is 'Markoiro Bunda Gambia' Alhamdulillah, is hands on in the local communities giving aid to the many there facing hardships. Below we have a few pictures so far of donated items for us to ship out bi ihdnIllah.

Sadaqa is an important part of our deen whether it's during ramadhan or beyond. So, we should strive to do as much good as we can, as often as we can. Ramadhan is not just about abstaining from food, drink and desires. It is much more than that. Giving sadaqa is a means to reach just one goal and be a part of this blessed month.

Update 05/06/15

Alhamdulillah the packing process has started...

We have purchased more items and will post pictures once they arrive In sha Allah.

Jazakum'Allahu Khairan to you all.

Ramadan can be the most rewarding time of the year, if we know how to maximize it. Let’s do a little math to put the amount of blessings that are up for grabs in perspective. The Prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said: “Whosoever tries drawing nearer to Allah by performing any virtuous deed in this month, for him shall be such reward as if he had performed a farḍ (obligatory observance) in any other time of the year. And whoever performs a farḍ for Him shall be the reward of seventy farḍ in any other time of the year” [Ibn Khuzaymah & Bayhaqi].
