All Praise is for Allah alone.
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatulaahi wa barakatu.
May this reach you all in the best of health and eman.
Apologies for lack of posting but my dear Husband of 29 years suffered a cardiac arrest a few weeks ago resulting in severe brain, heart and lung damage Subhan'Allah.
We, as a family are spending many hours/days at his beside asking Allah to purify his sins, give him what is best for him and only take his soul when He is pleased with him. Ameen.
Physically and mentally you become exausted but when you put your complete trust in Allah it helps us through any hardship/difficulty.

Abdullaah said, “It has been narrated to us on the authority of some wise men that tawakkal (reliance on Allaah) has three stages: Firstly, not complaining, secondly, being content and thirdly, loving it (by firmly believing that Allaah always decrees what is best for His creation).”
[Tawakkal ‘Ala Allaah, 1/47]
Alhamdulillah having spent many hours here at the hospital you obviously see many, many sick people Subhan'Allah but it made me wonder this morning just how much of it is self inflicted.
None of us are free of wants and desires but we must attain a certain amount of self control and take responsibility for our actions.
Obesity and smoking/drinking has become a major part of many peoples lives which we all know lead to further problems.
The sunnah way of eating/looking after ourselves is there for a reason. But, many of us prefer to eat rubbish and them take made up, artificial medication to treat it when these themselves are full of rubbish too.
My intention is to try and encourage as many of us as possible to change our unhealthy ways. Get more exercise and to look after the body that Allah has given us that we will all have to return to Him one day.
Every part of our body will speak out about how we treated it, how we did/did not look after it Subhan'Allah.
Also, I will post some updated pictures from previous sadaqa posts from our Masjid build in Gambia and food shopping for our local sisters bi ihdnIllah.
Remember, everything we do is judged by our intention. Please watch this short video to remind ourselves to renew our intention always.
Below are a few pictures from previous sadaqa projects which we did fi sabilIllah.
