Let us not forget the needy in Morocco

Assalaamu alaykum,

We tend to all know families living abroad who are in need of so many everyday things Subhan'Allah. We at Al-Huriyah Project often get asked by friends if we are able to help numerous causes. By Allah I ask Allah to increase the rizq of this whole project as there is nothing we want more than to help as many needy as possible bi ihdnIllah. But, as I said before, we only have very limited funds but Alhamdulillah we are still able to help a little here and there.
We were approached by a sr I have known and trust for over 20 years.
She informed us of a family in Morocco who live in the mountains. As beautiful as Morocco is, some live in very poor conditions. This family of 7 consists of Grandfather, Mother, Father and four children.
All they were asking for is a new set of clothes for school and for the celebration of Eid Insha'Allah. We managed to collect some donations and bought them some new clothes Alhamdulillah. The weather around the mountains can get very cold so, the clothes that we bought were a reflection on that. As much as it would have been nice to buy pretty bright coloured clothes suitable for summertime, this would have been impractical so we stuck with jumpers or cardigans for all and items they can wear every day. We still have some funds left so I will keep some aside and send more in the near  future Insha'Allah. We will also buy some more adult nappies for another friends daughter.
She is severely disabled and they have to use nappies as she is unable to walk or go to the toilet herself.
There will be many more families added to this page gradually and below is a few pictures of the clothes that your donations helped us buy.

Jazakum'Allahu Khairan to you all

A new bag for the two oldest children for school.
They have to walk for miles to reach there Subhan'Allah.

A new dress for Mum for Eid and the children

These will be delivered by hand via the brothers who drive to different parts of Morocco in vans, on a regular basis.

And lastly,  I know this is off topic but if it can inspire us to drop all wordly matters when the adhan starts then it is worth it Subhan'Allah.

وعجلت إليك ربي لترضى
"And I hurried to You, my Lord, so that You'll be pleased."...
Here is an inspirational true story that I received ...
1. A Quran teacher always advised her students to live by this aya: Ta-ha:84
وعجلت إليك ربي لترضى
"And I hurried to You, my Lord, so that You'll be pleased."...
She told them, "This aya is what moves me. When I hear the adhan and I'm in occupied and the middle of something, I remind myself of this aya...and so i get up to pray."...
"When my alarm goes off at 2 am and i want to go back to sleep I remember "And I hurried to You my Lord so you'll be pleases.", and so i get up...etc...
Her husband had the following arrangement with her: on his way home from work he'd call her so she'll get the food hot & ready, so he can come home and eat & sleep...
One day he asked her to make mahshi (stuffed grape leaves" - very time consuming. You wrap many of them and put the pot of them on the stove to cook). She had 3 more to wrap then she had to put them on the stove to cook. But the adhan came in...
So she left the 3 remaining grape-leaves (which would have taken her 5 mins) and went to pray...her husband kept calling & calling & no answer. He came home and found her in sujood and food not ready. He saw there were only 3 grape-leaves left. So he was upset & said, "You could have just finished them & put the pot to cook then pray!" No response. He went to her to discover she had died in her sujood! SubhanAllah, had she waited like any of us to "finish whats in her hand" she would have died in the kitchen! But a person dies upon what they lived on and by. And they are resurrected on what they died on.
May Allah (swt) take us in a state while He is pleased with us- bearing witness to His oneness.
Ameen...

And also this was sent by a dear sister.

Muslim recorded in his Saheeh that Ibn `Abbas said,

“While Jibril (Gabriel) was with the Messenger of Allah, he heard a noise from above. Jibril lifted his sight to the sky and said, ` This is a door in heaven being open, and it has never been opened before now. ‘ An angel descended from that door and came to the Prophet and said, ` Receive the glad tidings of two lights that you have been given, which no other Prophet before you was given: the Opening of the Book and the last (three) Ayat of Surat Al-Baqarah. You will not read a letter of them, but will gain its benefit . ”’
